Every carrier has a fixed end and a moving end. The end connectors decide whether cables run inward or outward to the connection point, and whether the carrier can later be released without pulling the cables out. Always state the series and inner width in your enquiry, plus whether you mount centrally or at the end — that fixes the version.
Without dividers, cables slide over each other and wear each other out. Separator stays split the inner space into chambers, fitted every pitch or every few pitches. Rule of thumb: one chamber per cable, and keep hoses away from signal cables. With multiple layers use shelves with stays so the top layer does not rest on the lower one.
If a link is damaged or the travel gets longer, single links from the same series are often enough. Pitch and inner width must match exactly; parts from other series will not fit mechanically. If in doubt, send a photo of the side of the carrier and the part number on the end bracket and we will find the right part.
Cables must be strain relieved at both ends, otherwise the movement pulls on the terminals in the panel. Use strain relief combs or clamping blocks directly behind the end connector. For the machine side we supply matching brackets and mounting plates so the carrier sits without play and at the right height.
