Our story
Wisman Group started in 1975 as a supplier to machine builders in the east of the Netherlands. What was true then is true now: a customer calls with a moving machine part and a bundle of cables, and we work out what has to go around it.
Today we run a warehouse with over 4,200 articles in Ruurlo, with an assembly department that delivers travels fully filled and tested. Our inside sales team are mechanical engineers, not order typists.
We supply machine builders, installers and maintenance departments across the Benelux and Germany. On account, with technical documentation and STEP files for every article.

1975
Jan Wisman starts a trade in drive and cable components in Ruurlo for regional machine builders.
1988
First dealer agreement with Kabelschlepp. Cable carriers become the core of the range.
1997
New warehouse on the Industrieweg; stock grows to thousands of articles on the shelf.
2004
In-house assembly: pre-assembled travels, delivered fully filled and tested.
2011
Expansion with Reiku hoses and Icotek entry systems — one supplier for the whole cable route.
2018
Exclusive Tsubaki Kabelschlepp dealership for the Benelux.
2026
