Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. We also use local storage: a browser feature that keeps data on your own device and is not sent with every request.

We use both only to run the webshop and to remember your preferences.

This storage is required to use the webshop and is enabled by default.

• Cart: your lines and quantities are stored locally so your cart survives a return visit.
• Language: remembers whether you view the site in Dutch, English, German or French.
• VAT switch: remembers whether you want prices with or without VAT.
• Session: when you sign in we store a secure session token to keep you logged in.
• Security: tokens that protect forms against abuse and automated attacks.

During checkout our payment provider sets its own strictly necessary cookies to process the payment safely and detect fraud. Online payment is not possible without them.

We use no advertising or profiling trackers and share no browsing behaviour with ad networks.

Any statistics we measure are aggregated and cannot be traced to a profile: page view counts, searches without personal data and error reports.

• Cart: local storage, kept until you empty it or clear your browser data.
• Language and VAT display: local storage or cookie, up to twelve months.
• Sign-in session: cookie or local storage, expires automatically after inactivity or on sign-out.
• Payment session: cookie from the payment provider, only during and shortly after checkout.

You can clear or block storage and cookies at any time in your browser settings, usually under 'Privacy and security'.

Clearing functional storage empties your cart, signs you out and resets language and VAT display to their defaults. Blocking all cookies makes signing in and checking out impossible.

If we later add a measurement tool or optional cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
