DetasUltra — Grommets, entry frames, brush seals and strain relief

DetasUltra entries work like other system entries: a split grommet closes around the cable, the frame is mounted in the cut-out and the assembly seals against dust, moisture and pull forces. DESCLICK grommets click into the frame without tools.

Besides grommets and frames you will find brush seals for openings where cables change often or where full sealing is not required, plus the AP and APD strain reliefs for fixing cable bundles to a mounting plate or rail.

Cable diameter ranges, frame dimensions and the number of entries are listed per article, so you assemble a complete entry solution quickly — with volume discounts on larger quantities and delivery from stock.

Do DetasUltra grommets fit existing frames?

Grommets and frames are matched within the DetasUltra system. When replacing another brand we gladly check the grid version and cut-out size for you.

When should I choose a brush seal?

For openings where cables are regularly changed or added, or where only dust and chips need to be kept out. For an IP rating, choose a grommet or entry plate.

Which strain relief do I need?

It depends on the bundle diameter and mounting method (plate, rail or DIN rail). Every AP or APD article lists its clamping range.

Can I combine DetasUltra with other brands?

Technically that is often possible, but we recommend staying within one system for a guaranteed seal. Our specialists are happy to check.
